Loomavoy is operated by Norton Media Enterprise, LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company based in Conway, South Carolina, USA. It helps you find, plan and book hotel stays and flights. Contact: support@loomavoy.com.
Hotel bookings are made through Nuitee (Nuitée Travel Limited, Dublin, Ireland), our booking partner, which sends each booking to the hotel's supplier. You pay in Nuitee's secure payment form; Loomavoy doesn't take or hold your payment and never sees your card number. Your stay is provided by the hotel under its own rules. Loomavoy is not the hotel.
Flight bookings are also made through Nuitee, which issues the ticket with the airline and services the booking afterwards (changes, cancellations, name corrections and refunds). You pay in Nuitee's secure payment form. Your flight is operated by the airline under its own conditions of carriage. Loomavoy is not the airline. Flight booking is available where Loomavoy shows a "Book this flight" button; elsewhere flights can be planned but not booked.
Tours, tickets, deals and event tickets are bought on other companies' websites (see section 11).
Before you pay, Loomavoy shows for the stay and all rooms:
If a charge payable at the property is in a different currency from the price, the two can't be added up exactly, so Loomavoy shows both amounts and their currencies instead of a single total. Charges at the property are collected by the hotel in the currency it chooses, and the amount can depend on its exchange rate.
If the supplier doesn't state taxes and fees for a room, Loomavoy says so, and you must confirm that you understand charges may be payable at the hotel before you can pay. Rooms whose fee details the supplier lists but we can't read in full aren't offered for booking.
Optional extras you choose at the hotel (parking you didn't need to book, meals, minibar and the like) are not part of the total cost.
Loomavoy's earnings are built into the price shown and are never added as a separate fee. Loomavoy rechecks the price and availability with the supplier before payment. If the price, room or terms changed, you must accept the change before paying. Each held price has a time limit, shown as a countdown; when it ends, the payment form closes and you need to check again.
Flights: the price shown is the total for all travellers, including the taxes and fees the airline charges, for the fare you chose. Before you pay, Loomavoy shows the fare's rules as the airline supplies them: the cabin and fare name, whether carry-on and checked bags are included, and whether the ticket is refundable or changeable. Anything the fare doesn't include (for example a checked bag or a seat choice) may be charged by the airline later, at the airport or in its own app, at the airline's price. The airline rechecks the fare before payment; if it changed, you must accept the new price before paying, and the payment form closes when the fare hold ends.
Your card issuer may add foreign-transaction fees.
Each hotel and each flight has its own payment, cancellation terms and confirmation. When you book a hotel and a flight together in trip checkout, you enter the travellers' details once and then pay twice, one payment after the other: first the flight, because the airline holds the fare for the shortest time, then the hotel. They remain two separate bookings. If one can't be completed, the other is not cancelled automatically; you can cancel it under its own terms. A combined trip total, where shown, is for information only and is not an amount due.
Pay once. If anything goes wrong after paying, don't pay again. Open the booking (or Account → Bookings and trips) to see its status, or contact us with the Loomavoy reference from your booking page or email. Loomavoy keeps checking an unfinished booking with the supplier automatically, and it only retries a booking after the supplier has confirmed no booking exists, using the same booking reference, so one checkout can't make two bookings.
If your payment goes through but the booking can't be completed, your booking page says so and we are alerted. We check the payment and the booking with Nuitee and tell you what happened. Where no booking was made, we ask Nuitee to release or refund the payment. How long it takes to reach your account depends on Nuitee and your card issuer.
Each room shows its cancellation terms before you pay: whether it is refundable and, if so, the free-cancellation deadline. Those terms apply.
If the supplier or hotel cancels your booking, Loomavoy records the cancellation, emails the lead guest and is alerted. We contact Nuitee about your refund and, where possible, an alternative. If you are at the hotel and it can't honour the booking, contact us straight away and mark the message urgent.
EU and UK travellers: the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to accommodation or passenger transport booked for specific dates; the booking's own cancellation terms apply.
Check-in times, deposits, ID and minimum check-in age are set by the hotel. Hotels often ask for a card or deposit for incidentals at check-in; that is separate from the total cost and is usually released after your stay.
Where bookings are available. Bookings are not available where applicable sanctions or other law prohibits them. Under US sanctions law Loomavoy doesn't accept bookings with a billing address in Cuba, Iran or North Korea, or in the Crimea, Donetsk or Luhansk regions of Ukraine. This list reflects US sanctions programmes as we last reviewed them and is not a complete statement of sanctions law. Separately, Nuitee, its payment provider, hotel suppliers and airlines apply their own checks and may decline a booking or payment under their policies.
Loomavoy shows offers that are sold on other companies' websites. When you follow one, you buy from that company under its terms, it takes your payment, and it handles changes, refunds and support. Loomavoy is not a party to the purchase and may earn a commission (see the terms of use).
Loomavoy helps you find and book hotels and flights; the hotel provides the stay, the airline provides the flight, and you pay through Nuitee. The airline's liability to you for the flight (for example for delays, lost baggage or injury) is set by its conditions of carriage and international conventions such as the Montreal Convention. To the fullest extent the law allows, Loomavoy is not responsible for the hotel's or airline's services, for events outside our reasonable control, or for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount Loomavoy earned on that booking.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that the law of your country does not allow to be limited or excluded.
Contact us at support@loomavoy.com with your Loomavoy reference. We will work with Nuitee and the hotel or airline to resolve the problem. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your card issuer, so we can try to fix it first; this doesn't affect any rights you have with your card issuer.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, USA. If you live in a country whose consumer law gives you rights that can't be waived, those rights still apply, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country where that law allows.
We post changes here with a new date and keep every earlier version available (linked below). The version in effect on the day you booked applies to that booking.
